I have heard of Berkshire Hathaway as an insurance provider but not of Tego. Is it safe to switch insurers?

I've been practicing for many years. I'm worried that if I change insurers, I won't have cover should a claim arise from one of the patients I have treated before changing.

I'm currently insured with another provider who suggests they will return a portion of the premiums I have paid over the years to me upon my retirement from practice. If I switch insurers now, I will lose this retirement bonus.

How would Fenton Green Medical determine the cost of my medical indemnity policy?

I work full time in the hospital system, so I have no private practice income. I don't need to take out a separate medical indemnity policy, do I?
